• Feb. 20: Spring training games begin with a matchup between the Dodgers and Chicago Cubs.
• March 18: The regular season begins with the Dodgers and Cubs playing a two-game series in Japan.
• March 27:The regular season begins for 26 other teams.
• March 28:The regular season begins for the Tampa Bay Raysand Colorado Rockies. This gives the Rays an extra day to prepare George M. Steinbrenner Field, a minor league park in Tampa, as their home stadium for the 2025 season. The Rays' regular home stadium, Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, was damaged in October during Hurricane Milton.
• March 31:The former Oakland Athletics open their regular season home schedule at Sutter Health Park in West Sacramento, a minor league ballpark the team will share with the Sacramento River Cats, the SanFrancisco Giants’ Triple-A affiliate. The Athleticswill not have a city designation until moving to a planned permanent home stadium on the Las Vegas Strip in three years. The A's open the 2025 regular season on March 27 on the road against the Seattle Mariners. 
• July 15:The 95th All-Star Game is scheduled to take place at Truist Park in Cumberland, Georgia, home of the Atlanta Braves.
• Aug. 2:The Braves and Cincinnati Redsare scheduled to play a regular season game at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee. 
• Sept. 28: The 2025 regular season concludes, with the playoffs and World Series to follow.
